Michel L. Gevaert, MD

Dr. Michel Gevaert was born in Belgium and earned his medical doctorate at the University of Leuven in Belgium. He completed an internship at the University Of Pennsylvania Medical School. Upon completion of his residency at the University of Pennsylvania of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he continued his advanced training with a fellowship in Electromyography and later in spine rehabilitation. He was assistant professor at the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Gevaert is specialized in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of back pain and neck pain. He published several articles and abstracts in peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic medicine, the International Spinal Injection society and many others.

In addition to English, he speaks French, Dutch and Spanish.
